- The program assessment template for reporting your assessment can be found here. The assessment of programs should include the following information:

* The learning outcome(s)/objective(s) you are assessing. All program learning objectives should be assessed over a five-year period;

* The direct and indirect measures used to capture data on student learning;

* A copy of the rubric or scoring method for evaluating the evidence;

* Summary of the findings and what they tell you about student learning; and

* Description of how the assessment will be used to improve student learning in the course.

- Sample assessments from different departments can be found here.

- The university will endeavor to provide meaningful feedback on your program assessment using the Program Assessment Feedback Rubric. The rubric provides a clear indication of the type and level of information required by GW.

- The university uses Taskstream, an assessment management tool, as a repository to collect assessment information. All assessment reports must be submitted to Taskstream. A Quick Start guide may be found here.
